In the midst of an “impeachment inquiry” by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) and the House Democrats over a phone call that President Trump had with the Ukranian president, the transcript of the phone call has been released. USA Today reports on the release.
The 30-minute phone call was reduced to a five-page transcript that the trump administration released. President Trump told President Volodymyr Zelensky that he was directing attorney Rudy Giuliani and Attorney General William Barr to ‘get to the bottom of it’ relating to a scandal with Hunter Biden, presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son.
Mike Huckabee, after reviewing the transcripts, slams the Democrats. He tweeted out that there was no ‘quid pro quo’ (political favor) offered in return for Ukraine investigating Joe Biden’s son. He said this only serves to be bad.. for Joe Biden! The former Arkansas Governor (R) tweeted:
“Just read Ukraine transcript. It’s bad! Very very bad! For Joe Biden. But @realDonaldTrump didn’t once offer aid for a political favor. Dems look like idiots. Media already did. Wile E. Coyote has Acme bomb blow up in face again.”

Surely Democrats will say this transcript makes President Trump look bad, and Republicans will say it makes Joe Biden look bad. One thing is likely, there will not be enough votes in congress to actually impeach President Trump on this scandal. This is a developing story. Trump tweeted recently on the issue:
“Will the Democrats apologize after seeing what was said on the call with the Ukrainian President? They should, a perfect call – got them by surprise!”
