‘MTG’ Supports Andy Biggs’ Two Immigration Bills to End ‘Catch and Release’, Finish the Wall, and More

Arizona Republican U.S. House Rep Andy Biggs (R-AZ) who has been a vocal supporter of former President Trump and his immigration policies has introduced two bills into the U.S. House of Representatives which would end the notorious system of “Catch and Release” and many other things.

Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) who was recently stripped of her committee assignments has announced on Twitter she is cosponsoring both of these immigration bills. Below are her tweets.

“I’m excited to cosponsor “Grant’s Law” (H.R. 45), introduced by @RepAndyBiggsAZ! Grant’s Law ends the “catch and release” of illegal aliens who have been arrested for deportable crimes and ensures these illegal aliens are not released back into the community.”

“Excited to announced that I’m cosponsoring the “Fund and Complete the Border Wall Act” (H.R. 58) introduced by @RepAndyBiggsAZ. H.R. 58: Creates a fund to complete the border wall and requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to build it.”

The “Grants Law” bill that has been introduced by Congressman Biggs (R-AZ) would end “Catch and Release” and Congresswomen Greene (R-GA) described the bill by saying it, “ends the “catch and release” of illegal aliens who have been arrested for deportable crimes and ensures these illegal aliens are not released back into the community.”

Catch and Release was an immigration policy in which Former President Trump ran on ending and has been a vocal critic of the policy as many view it as dangerous.

The Second Bill called the “Fund and Complete the Border Wall Act” would have multiple measures described in Greene’s tweet. Green highlighted the three main things within the bill.

“Creates a fund to complete the border wall and requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to build it. Requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to report on the number of apprehensions of aliens and their nationality. Reduces foreign assistance to every country by $2,000 for every alien that is apprehended from that country. Increases the fees for processing U.S. customs and border protection (CBP) forms.”

Most people on the right would see this as a right direction on immigration as these measures put America and its citizens first. It is good to see the backing of these much-needed immigration plans by members of the GOP in Congress.
