This comes after Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Donald Trump and his co-defendants committed fraud, and must cancel business certificates for many Trump entities last week. While Justice Peter Moulton paused the cancelation of the business certificates while the court considered the issue, he did not delay the civil trial which is set to start next week.
Moulton’s pause will stay in effect until a full panel of appeals court judges can consider the case and whether or not Engoron’s ruling will be allowed to stand.
Attorney General Letitia James is not only seeking the cancelation of Trump’s business certificates but has also asked the court to impose a $250 million fine and impose penalties as to bar Trump and his sons from running any New York businesses for the next five years, as well as block Trump from commercial real estate acquisition in that time period.
This is a blow to James and Engoron, and comes while many Trump haters had been basking in the now-delayed ruling. Things as they stand are much up in the air and will continue on as the other affected case is set to take place in December.

There does need to be some type of punishment for Engoron especially as one can see he is not an impartial judge. Hopefully, in AG James case Trump will be able to sue her directly and take everything she owns for it was clear before she took office that she was going to use the AG office for a personal vendetta devoid of any legal reason.

You used the word “humiliating”, which is a meaningless word to use with the judge and AG. They have no sense of shame, and what anybody else but their handler(s) think is immaterial to them. Not only do AG James & Judge Engeron’s attempts to personally destroy Trump hurt him and his family – THEY HURT NEW YORK. In a time when NYC is overwhelmed by Biden’s illegal aliens, unprecedented crime wave, and incredibly high cost of housing & living in general, they are looking to destroy businesses that have been intact, paying taxes, providing services and jobs, to thousands of New Yorkers for decades. Aside from legal & moral issues, will New York be any better if Trump & Co are destroyed? Of course not.
