Trump Gets Another Big Win Against Tyrannical Left, Granted Delay in Classified Documents Case

Donald Trump had a victory in court on Friday as he was granted a delay in the pre-trial filing deadline in the case against him related to classified documents.

Judge Aileen Cannon ordered a stay in the Trump team’s Classified Information Procedures Act deadline, all while Cannon has yet to decide whether or not to push back the pre-trial schedule.

This move came a day after Trump’s lawyers petitioned to have the case postponed until after the 2024 presidential election. The current trial date is set for May 20th, 2024.

In the filing, Trump’s attorneys wrote, “The March 4, 2023 trial date in the District of Columbia, and the underlying schedule in that case, currently require President Trump and his lawyers to be in two places at once.” They also referenced delays in getting access to the evidence from special counsel Jack Smith’s office.

While staring down multiple indictments, as well as being the current front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination, Trump has a lot to juggle. This victory is a positive light on the continued legal struggles that have plagued Trump.
