Pennsylvania State Senate Sends Letter to Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy Asking to Delay Presidential Election Certification

In a stunning move tonight, the Pennsylvania State Senate announced that they will overrule Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State, Kathy Boockvar, and have announced that they are officially requesting more time to certify the results of the Electoral College, in light of an upcoming Supreme Court battle between Trump and Voockvar.

Pennsylvania State Senator Mastriano, as shown in the cover image, has been one of the most vocal supporters of President Trump.

In a letter sent directly to Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and House Leader Kevin McCarthy, the letter signed by 21 legislators states:
“As members of the Pennsylvania Senate, we believe in the integrity of the election process. After speaking with our colleagues, a majority of the State Senate is troubled by the many inconsistencies that happened in our Commonwealth during the 2020 election.”

The letter goes on to list the many alleged improprieties they believe occurred on election night, including Republican poll watchers not being allowed to observe the canvassing of ballots in Philadelphia.

President Trump and his longtime, and continuously loyal ally, Rudy Guiliani praised the move from the Pennsylvania Senate on Twitter.

With all eyes on Georgia, this is an important development in a swing state that has faced many accusations of unlawful actions taken on Election Day by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, and his Secretary of State, Kathy Boockvar, who is set to potentially battle Trump directly in the Supreme Court in the coming weeks.
