Police Officer Who Allegedly Shot Minnesota Black Man, Causing Massive Riots Was Reportedly a Female Senior Member of the Force

Apparently, the tragic officer involved in the shooting of Daunte Wright is a woman. According to Chief of Police Tim Gannon said, “She’s a very senior officer”.

During the Press Conference, he also stated, “She has the right to be heard. She has the right to give her statement. She has a right to tell what she felt, what she thought. Not what I thought. Not what I saw. But what she thought. She will not be returning to duty until this investigation has run its course and she, for all intents and purposes, I think we can look at the video and ascertain whether or not she’ll be returning.” 

Sunday in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota a 20 year old male was shot during a traffic stop and died while fleeing from police. Body cam video has now been released. Police Chief Gannon stated, “this was an accidental discharge, that resulted in a tragic death of Mr. Wright.” He believes the officer accidently drew handgun instead of taser.

This incident sparked rioting in Brooklyn Center last night. Which we previously reported:

“Multiple videos showing rioting going on in Minneapolis can be seen below. Some of these videos may potentially have violence and cursing in them, so viewer discretion is advised. In one of the videos, you can see an angry mob jumping on top of and destroying a police SUV.

In another clip, you can see police cars leaving the area as rioters wave Black Lives Matter flags and throw things at the police cars. We can only assume there are liberal politicians in charge of the police telling them they can’t do very much about the rioting and disarray. Many liberal politicians actually support rioters in some aspects.

Some had signs honoring the late George Floyd.

Wright was pulled over for expired tags, when his information was run it showed a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear in court earlier this month. He was removed from the car and the officer was making an arrest during this a female officer accidentally shot Wright by withdrawing a handgun instead of a taser. The body cam video shows the officer saying “Taser! Taser! Taser!” and  “Holy (expletive)! I shot him.” Wright took off in his car crashed with another vehicle. Wright was later pronounced dead.
