QB Aaron Rodgers Fires Back Against the ‘Woke Mob,’ Calls Pandemic of the Unvaccinated COVID-19 Mantra ‘A Total Lie’

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” today to tell his side of the story, two days after the news that he tested positive for COVID-19, was not vaccinated, and would be missing Sunday’s football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rodgers fired back against the “Woke mob” and called the pandemic of the unvaccinated COVID-19 mantra “A total lie.”

In the interview, Rodgers acknowledged, “I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I’d like to set the record straight on some of the blatant lies that are out there about myself right now.”

Rodgers spoke for about 15 minutes uninterrupted about all the dynamics that went into his decision not to be vaccinated, as well as all of his issues with the backlash he has received.

“This idea that it’s the pandemic of the unvaccinated, it’s a just a total lie and I go back to these two questions for the woke mob,” Rodgers insisted.

Rodgers wondered, “Number one, if the vaccine is so great, then how come people are still getting COVID and spreading COVID and unfortunately dying from COVID?””

“To just say that it’s a blanket for all that ails you is just wrong and reckless and for the media out there taking shots at me, you don’t know my story and now you do. So quit lying about me. Personal health decisions should be private,” Rodgers explained.

During the interview, Rodgers provided a number of reasons why he didn’t want to take the vaccine, including a potential allergic reaction as well as concerns about sterilization, among others.

Rodgers also pointed out that “When (President) Trump in 2020 was championing these vaccines, what did the left say? I’m talking about every member of the left. Don’t trust the vaccine, don’t get the vaccine, you’re going to die from this vaccine.”

“And then what happened? Biden wins and everything flips. Shouldn’t that initially give you a little bit of pause and go hold up a second, isn’t this sh*t about health and not about politics?” Rodgers added.

Rodgers pointed out that perhaps there should be some discussion about making sure that you are healthy and for health officials to possibly discuss that more.
