Queen Elizabeth II Passes away with Family by her Side

Queen Elizabeth, who celebrated her platinum jubilee this June has died. She was the longest reigning monarch.

News across the world this morning reported that the monarch was not doing well and she has now passed on

I brief statement was released to the press this morning:

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queenโ€™s doctors are concerned for Her Majestyโ€™s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

The Queen is 96 years old and has served as Queen of England for 70 years. She was under medical supervision at her estate in Balmoral where she passed away. Many senior royals are reported to be en route or have arrived to be by her side before she passed.

During her honeymoon with her late husband prince Phillip, she became queen and rushed home from Africa to take on her responsibilities as Queen of England. During the past 70 years, she has worked with 15 prime ministers.

Many leaders and public figures from across the globe have sent out prayers and well wishes for the Queen and her family.
