Report: 140 US Congressmen May Object to Joe Biden’s Reported Win

Two House Republicans have told CNN host Jake Tapper that at least 140 House Republicans will object to the electoral votes on January 6th which showed Biden the winner of the 202 presidential elections. Below is the tweet from Jake Tapper.

“2 House Republicans tell me they expect as of now that at least 140 Republican Members of the House will on Jan 6 object to and vote against the Electoral College results showing President-elect Biden won”

President Trump has been calling on members of Congress to object to the electoral results of the election following the president alleging voter fraud in multiple swing states. House Republicans like Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Mo Brooks (R-MO) have already announced they will object to the results on January 6th.

Yesterday Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) became the first U.S. Senator to Announce he will object to the election results on January 6th which could lead to more to follow. Hawley announced the news on Twitter early Wednesday morning. It’s likely Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will push back on that though.

Hawley accused Pennsylvania of failing to follow their own election rules and cited the big tech media bias towards Joe Biden and accusing them of interfering in the election. Those who cast their votes against the 2020 presidential election results will show their loyalty to the president while the other GOP Congressman will show their loyalty t the GOP.

The president is also expected to be in D.C. on January 6th which is the same day Congress will vote on the electoral college results. We will have to see how this plays out and what the president has to say in D.C. on Wednesday.
