Report: Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb Have Secret Feud and Are Not Truly Friends as Portrayed on ‘Today’

According to an anonymous source, who claims to be close to the production of “The Today Show”, hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb secretly hate each other. This is despite the appearance they put out on social media and, on their popular morning show, that they are best friends. The Sun reported that this source claimed: “Savannah is the boss. After Matt Lauer was ousted, Savannah grabbed power, and she really wanted Willy Geist in Hoda’s role, but his ratings were just not up to par for the network.”

The source claims that “Hoda and Jenna”-which is a segment of the today show that occurs in its fourth hour co-host Jenna Bush Hager participates in this drama, claiming that “Jenna and Savannah are the best of friends”, and that she and Savannah “ice Hoda out”.

They allege that Savannah formerly being a White House correspondent before hosting “The Today Show” is the reason she and Jenna are such good friends, as Jenna is the daughter of former president George W. Bush. They also claim “Jenna landed the best job on TV with zero experience- no one works people better than Jenna…She’s a master at playing the game”

These claims seem a bit odd as just last month Savannah was singing Hoda’s praises at an event celebrating “The Today Show” saying: “All I know was in that moment, it felt like I could drown if Hoda hadn’t reached down and grabbed my hand.” Referencing the time period after former host Matt Lauer was fired after multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Savannah proceeds to say: “I will always say she saved the show full stop. And holding hands with her and being like, ‘We’re going to do this together,’ meant everything to me. I don’t think I had the confidence by myself”

“The Today Show” has seemly always had behind the scenes drama. Before Hoda when it was Lauer and Guthrie also had their spats and seemed to despised each other privately. This seems to hold true after Lauer was ousted over sexual misconduct allegations. Guthrie never once defended the man who co-hosted with her for years.

Many stories, like the ones about her and Hoda came out during their time together as well, speculating on Laure and Guthrie’s feuding.

The current hosts, Guthrie and Kotb may refute the claims being made however, we are only reporting on the speculation made with The Sun’s article on the matter.
