Republican Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said at the Senate hearings today that, “74 Million Americans are not going to shut up.” He was referring to the more than 74 million people that voted for the president. Below is the clip.

He said, “74 million Americans are not going to shut up and telling them that their views don’t matter, and that their concerns don’t matter, and that they should just be quiet is not a recipe for success in this country, is not a recipe for the unity in which I hear the other side is so interested in after years, years trying to delegitimize President Trump.”
Most Trump voters do believe that there was widespread voter fraud in this election and that their voice was taken away by the Democrats. If not widespread, there is the belief that it was strategic in the key swing states. Many mainstream outlets have ‘fact-checked’ and pushed back on the possibility though. Hawley seems to be on the president’s side fighting potential voter fraud as some Senators like Mitch McConnell (R-KY) are abandoning him.
He is right, Trump supporters aren’t going to go quietly as they love this president and if they feel they were cheated they won’t shut up and go along with what’s happening without being heard. We have seen thousands of Trump supporters take to the streets with people like Nicholas Fuentes, while some establishment Republicans are leaving Trump and focusing on the two Georgia Senate runoff races.
It is safe to say most Trump supporters feel disenfranchised by what is happening, as some have even mentioned the idea of secession.
