‘She Was on Top of Mind’ Karine Jean-Pierre Attempts to Explain Biden Looking For Dead GOP Congresswoman

At today’s White House daily press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to explain a clear gaffe by Joe Biden where he looked for a dead GOP Congresswoman.

“She was on top of mind,” Jean-Pierre insisted when asked about what happened after appearing to try her best to come up with a good excuse for what occurred.

Breitbart’s Charlie Spiering tweeted about her response: “Karine Jean-Pierre says Joe Biden was ‘naming the congressional champions on this issue … acknowledging her work’ when he said ‘Where is Jackie’ referring to Rep. Jackie Walorski who died in August. ‘Of course she was on top of mind.'”

Breaking911 shared the clip of Biden’s gaffe:

“BIDEN: ‘Representative Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? She must not be here…’

“Rep. Jackie Walorski was killed in a car accident in August along with two of her aides.”

In August, we reported:

Condolences poured in today after it was reported that U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (R-IN) had died tragically in a car crash along with three others.

The other two who were killed in the same car as Walorski, Zachery Potts and Emma Thomson, worked on her staff.

In a Truth Social post on Walorski’s passing, the 45th President Donald Trump referenced the pair.

“Jackie was a wonderful woman and an impassioned advocate for the people of Indiana,” Trump explained.

Strategist Alex Bruesewitz shared Trump’s post in a tweet where he reported, “President Trump reacts to the passing of Rep. Jackie Walorski.”

“Praying for her family during this difficult time,” Bruesewitz added.
