Supreme Court Gives Four Key States Deadline on Major Texas Lawsuit, Must Respond by December 10, 3 PM

An update has been provided to an earlier article regarding a Texas lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin regarding alleged voter irregularities that has been taken up by the Supreme Court.

Tonight, it was announced that the Court was giving Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania until Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. to file responses to the Texas effort.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a statement that she believes “The motion filed by the Texas attorney general is a publicity stunt, not a serious legal pleading.”

“The erosion of confidence in our democratic system isn’t attributable to the good people of Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia or Pennsylvania but rather to partisan officials, like Mr. Paxton, who place loyalty to a person over loyalty to their country,” Nessel added.

Former Kansas Secretary of State and Senate candidate Kris Kobach wrote in Breitbart that he believes Paxton’s suit is “far more important than all of the others surrounding the presidential election.”

President Trump retweeted OAN reporter Christina Bobb, who had said in regards to the suit, “God bless Texas!” Trump added, “FOR COURAGE & BRILLIANCE!”

Kayleigh McEnany, President Trump’s White House Press Secretary, was one of the first to announce the suit:

“The state of Texas has sued Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania & Wisconsin over election irregularities! This means Texas will have original jurisdiction to go directly to the Supreme Court”

McEnany has since called it “The most significant, comprehensive case yet, outlining the election irregularities of 2020 is Texas v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Attorney General @KenPaxtonTX.”
