‘The Pest’ Actor Seems More Than Bugged About a Trump 2024 Run, Tells ‘The View’ the Country will be ‘Destroyed’

Wednesday on “The View” everyone was all in a tizzy over Trump’s official announcement that he would be seeking a second term as president. John Leguizamo who was on with the hosts decried, ” He’ll destroy the country.”

The co-hosts took shots at former President Trump but declared they would fight to ensure he wasn’t re-elected. Joy Behar asks Leguizamo his thoughts on Trump’s announcement since he has been politically active since Hilliary Clinton’s run for president.

Joy asks, “So what do you think of the tape of, low energy [Donald Trump]?” She added, “he seems to be losing it.”

Leguizamo started with, “Well you know it’s kind of exciting and terrible all at once. If he’s the nominee for the Republicans, it’s going to undo them. Because he loses suburban women, he loses the moderates the moderate republicans.”

“But then the fight between him and DeSantis could be UFC,” he announces excitedly. “Oh my god, that would be a blast.”

“If he wins, he’s going to know how to destroy America. He’ll destroy the country,” Leguizamo declares. Behar jumps in, “He’s not gonna win, he can’t win again.” A few of the other co-hosts rebuke Behar saying “don’t say that.”

Ana Navarro responds, “We cannot get complacent, don’t say that.” Leguizamo adds, “We gotta keep our dukes up.”

It almost sounds like the same rehoric that came from the left in 2016, although they are trying to keep themselves in check. Trump has proven in the past that he can win despite what pundits claim.
