Tuesday on Capitol Hill, the GOP member of the Senate said, “They spied and they lied. We need accountability. We need accountability for the Clinton campaign.” Scott continued, “We need accountability for Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler because they were complicit in this. So the media needs to start doing their job.”
This comes as we previously reported, “Durham’s filing from February 11th states that Sussman “had assembled and conveyed the allegations to the FBI on behalf of at least two specific clients, including a technology executive (Tech Executive 1) at a U.S.-based internet company (Internet Company 1) and the Clinton campaign.”
The filing continues that Sussman’s ‘billing records reflect” that he “repeatedly billed the Clinton Campaign for his work on the Russian Bank-1 allegations.’
This appears to be in contradiction from what Sussman originally told the FBI to procure a meeting.“
Senator Scott predicted that if Republicans take control over Congress in 2022 it will be a bigger part of their agenda. “I think there will be overwhelming support to have a thorough investigation and get the facts,” Scott said Tuesday.
As Hillary Clinton seems to be potentially posturing herself for yet another presidential campaign run in 2024, this could be another problem she has to deal with if Republicans gain power. If the GOP wins back Congress in 2022 we will have to see if, for once, they see their power to get things done and uncover the truth.
