Trish Regan Voices Concern Over Texas AG Ken Paxton Impeachment as Many Feel it’s More Political Lawfare

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was impeached by Texas House legislators. He has been suspended from his duties and will now face a trial in the Texas Senate. The House voted 121-23 in favor of Paxton’s impeachment.

“Just in: The Texas State House has voted to impeach 121-23 to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton.”

Conservative commentators shared the news on Twitter along with some speculation as to why Paxton was impeached.

“Ken Paxton of Texas was just IMPEACHED. I don’t know all the details yet, but I do know he was targeting ESG. Is it me — or does our government — in every way … feel extraordinarily BROKEN?!”

The impeachment of Paxton was being led by Republicans. Former President Donald Trump had shared a message to Truth Social against the impeachment of Paxton before the vote was held.

Trump Truthed:

“The RINO Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is barely a Republican at all and failed the test on voter integrity, wants to impeach one of the most hard working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who just won re-election with a large number of American Patriots strongly voting for him. You would think that any issue would have been fully adjudicated by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so conclusive.”

“I love Texas, won it twice in landslides, and watched as many other friends, including Ken Paxton, came along with me. Hopefully Republicans in the Texas House will agree that this is a very unfair process that should not be allowed to happen or proceed—I will fight you if it does. It is the Radical Left Democrats, RINOS, and Criminals that never stop. ELECTION INTERFERENCE! Free Ken Paxton, let them wait for the next election!”

Eric Trump responded to the news of Paxton’s impeachment on Twitter:

“This should never be allowed to happen to @KenPaxtonTX”.

Political activist Jack Posobiec pointed out that Republicans are the ones who have led the impeachment of Paxton.

“The fact there are Republicans leading the charge in trying to take out Ken Paxton tells everything you need to know about the GOPe”

We will see what comes from the Texas Senate trial, if Paxton will be removed or not.

  1. This Paxton impeachment literally seems to come out of nowhere. It was like boom boom. I wish Texas Republicans were so ACTIVE in stopping the border invasion but that doesn’t seem to motivate them to take action like this. I have to wonder what Paxton was INVESTIGATING that made the GOP stop him. Sounds like ESG from what Trish Regan says. I also wonder if he was trying to stop the border invasion. We need new parties – GOP can’t be trusted anymore than Dems. It’s a UNI-PARTY that only works for their own corrupt financial benefit.
