Former President Donald Trump released a big endorsement Monday that will certainly shake things up in Georgia as Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) has announced his run for Georgia Secretary of State to unseat “RINO” Brad Raffensperger. Hice commented on the endorsement which he received from Trump Monday morning.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of President Donald Trump! His priority has always been America first!”

Donald Trump and Brad Raffensperger have been feuding since the 2020 election. Trump believed that massive voter fraud occurred in Georgia and wanted an audit of the vote. Raffensperger and Trump also had a heated phone call in which Trump went after Raffensperger for overseeing a Biden victory in Georgia as Trump saw it as an inaccurate vote total. Raffensperer released a heavily edited version of their conversation to put Trump in a bad light.
As expected, Raffensperger has drawn a primary opponent, Congressmen Jody Hice, who objected to the 2020 election results has announced his candidacy for Georgia Secretary of State to unseat RINO incumbent Brad Raffensperger.
Trump in his statement focused on elections saying, “I have 100% confidence in Jody to fight for Free, Fair, and Secure Elections in Georgia, in line with our beloved U.S. Constitution. Jody will stop the Fraud and get honesty into our Elections!”
He praised Rep. Hice saying, “Jody has been a steadfast fighter for conservative Georgia values and is a staunch ally of the America First agenda.” Hice has stood with former President Trump as many Republicans turned on him and distanced himself from him.
There was speculation that Rep. Hice would be challenging Raffensperger as we reported on the news Wednesday.
We reported, “Georgia Republican Congressmen Jody Hice is reportedly thinking about announcing his bid for Georgia Secretary of State to unseat “RINO” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger who has expressed anti-Trump bias in the past.
Rep. Hice has been critical of Secretary Raffensperger and accused him of allowing the alleged widespread voter fraud in which he believed occurred under Raffensperger’s watch in Georgia. You can see the tweet from January 5th in which Hice went after Raffensperger.”
Now it is official that Hise is running to unseat Raffensperger and with an endorsement from former President Trump, Hise seems poised to be the Republican nominee for Georgia Secretary of State.
