Trump Sends Letter to Arkansas Distillery Recognizing Them For Making Hand Sanitizer

An Arkansas distillery, Rock Town Distillery, received a letter from President Trump, “recognizing” them “for their efforts in assisting in the battle against the coronavirus by making sanitizer.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere retweeted their tweet saying that President Trump was “proud to learn about this great Arkansas company and their efforts” to fight against the Coronavirus.

Donald Trump was proud to learn about this great Arkansas company and their efforts to assist in the fight against #COVID19 and keep our country healthy and safe.

Sarah Sanders thanked Deere in a tweet for making sure that Trump “knew about this great company.” She thanked the company and used the hashtag, Arkansas Strong.

Previously, their efforts had been reported by local news agencies and they had made a post on Facebook saying that they are “scaling to be in full production of hand sanitizer.” A 375ml bottle can be purchased for $8 and with a one per person limit.
