Eric Glyman co-founder of ramp shared a graph showing ad spending of US startups ad spend since Elon Musk acquired Twitter.
The graph shows that US’s fastest-growing startups have increased their ad spend with Twitter by 18% while they’ve cut their ad spend by 8% on Facebook. Musk replied to this graph announcing “Twitter is growing super fast. I hope it continues!!”
Glyman also shares that the graph only shows data for Ramp.
“Surprise– the world’s most innovative companies are investing more on Twitter than ever! @tryramp customers–which includes a cross-section of the US’s fastest growing startups–increased spend at @twitter by 18% in the 7 days post-acquisition (10/27)! Google grew 3.4%, FB fell 8%”

This positive news highlighted by Musk comes after some companies have announced they will be pausing their ad spending with Twitter at least until the proverbial dust settles from Musk’s takeover.
Twitter has also faced an exodus of many elitists who feel their safe space is now gone with Musk in charge. Whoopi Goldberg was uncomfortable with the state of Twitter and announced last week was her last on Twitter, at least for now.
Kathy Griffin self-destructed on Twitter and was then suspended for impersonating Musk on her verified account. Not one to know when to stop, Griffin then took over her dead mother’s Twitter account to do the very same thing but this time unverified.
With all this Musk has pushed forward with his idea of what Twitter should be, a free exchange of Ideas, a town square of sorts. This idea has intrigued many to join.
Musk is the richest man in the world and hasn’t gotten that way by being foolish. The world is watching what he does with his purchase of Twitter.
