Vindictive Liberals Push Unfounded Rumors That Foo Fighters Will Be Next to Pull Their Music From Spotify Over Joe Rogan Podcast

Vindictive liberals, upset that Joe Rogan thinks for himself and doesn’t subscribe to Dr. Anthony Fauci, have been pushing unfounded rumors that rock band Foo Fighters will be the next to pull their music from Spotify over the Joe Rogan podcast.

It would certainly be an about-face for the band’s singer Dave Grohl, who told The Sun in August, “I never wanted to be seen as somebody political, or someone who is always handing out opinions. But I get asked what I think about all sorts of stuff.”

“We’re not really a political band. We try to do what we think is right but we’re not preaching to people,” Grohl added.

Many have framed the departures of Neil Young and Joni Mitchell from the streaming platform as “doing what is right” rather than being something political, but it is clear that many liberals are attempting to now cancel them after they refused to pull Rogan.

As we reported earlier, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) sounded off in support of Rogan’s right to free speech earlier after Mitchell announced she was pulling her music.

Much of the speculation about Foo Fighters pulling their music appears to come from a tweet from a clear left-wing Twitter user who has now changed their user name to “Dave Grohl Could Kill Spotify With ‘I’m Out.'”

“If Dave Grohl pulls Foo Fighters from Spotify, they are f*cking _through._” the Twitter user said yesterday in a now viral tweet.

In a reply to their own tweet, which shows that they have no sources to back up the suggestion, they tagged the group and asked, “@foofighters Give it a consider, my dudes?”

Another liberal twitter user declared happily in another now viral tweet, “Dave Grohl is now pulling Foo Fighters from #Spotify !! We are going to wake up tomorrow and the only person left on Spotify is Joe Rogan.”

A fellow left-wing Twitter user, however, was not pleased when they couldn’t find a source to back that up and told them, “This isn’t true. Fighting misinformation with misinformation isn’t a good look. A lot of us are waiting for this to actually happen and as of yet it has not. Provide the source or take this down. Reported for misinformation. Everyone should follow.”

This is the second time now that liberals have speculated about a possible musician or band joining Neil Young in protest of “misinformation” and it has turned out to be likely misinformation.

The first time was when LGBTQ-activist Amy Siskind claimed that Barry Manilow was joining the cause and he dispelled that notion in a tweet.
