Scandal embroiled Democrat Governor Ralph Northam just recently spoke out about the crisis in Afghanistan. Did he speak out to criticize his friend Joe Biden’s failures like the left-leaning ACLU has done? Of course not. Northam, under pressure from radical leftists who “forgave him” for his “Blackface/KKK yearbook” scandal a couple of years ago are likely whispering in his ear and telling him what they want.
Northam, all too lucky to be even finishing what is most likely to be his last term as Governor or anything else elected other than maybe dog catcher, is telling the world that Afghanistan refugees are likely to be coming to the U.S. Northam is glad to take them. Northam brags about how Virginia has already taken many refugees in the recent past, but that isn’t enough, he is ready and willing to take thousands more.
No concern about the crisis in the United States where American culture is falling apart and we are more divided than ever before. That seems to be at the bottom of the list for all Democrats and probably a good chunk of RINO Republicans as well. Many Virginia Republicans had been hoping for a flip back to red, or Virginia taking back some power eventually, as Democrats like Northam there pretty much run the gamut.
Now, many Republicans who have been blind to reality as to why Virginia turned blue in the first place may finally see what the left’s endgame is, was, and always has been.
It’s not to convince Americans they are the better party, but rather to bring a fresh batch of new voters in who will always be loyal to the left in exchange for things only the government can provide. Things like money, citizenship, refuge, etc. Northam tweeted:
“Last week I was honored to meet some of the thousands of Afghan citizens and families who have sought refuge at Fort Lee in Virginia. I’m coordinating with DC and have made it clear: we’re ready and willing to take thousands more. Virginia will continue to serve as safe harbor.”
