Grumpy actor Jim Carrey has joined the ranks of those announcing their departure from Twitter in true airport intercom fashion. Carrey was once a funny and revered comedian and actor.
But like many, Trump Derangement Sydrome and Republican Derangement Syndrome has in our opinion caught up with him. Although the actor’s Twitter account is still active, Carrey popped on the Elon Musk owned site to tell people he’s leaving, soon.

Whoopi Goldberg is another celebrity who has left Twitter, along with singer Sara Bareilles, famous for singing about how people should say what they want to say.
It seems the TDS is really viral and we will see how many more celebs cave and leave Twitter, or which ones cave and stay, or come back. Actress Alyssa Milano is one of the lefties who has promised to stay on the platform however, despite neither relentlessly mocked by her online detractors.
Many “woke” corporations have begun to pause advertising on Twitter. Musk accused Apple of slowing advertising and threatening to pull the Twitter app from the App Store. Time will tell how that situation unfolds as well.
Time will also tell if Jim Carrey truly leaves or if he is just taunting Mr. Musk and conservatives who are pro free speech.

I believe in America as it was meant to be…Freedoms, The Constitution and all the rights it allows…..also anyone promoting socialism should be charged with trying to overthrow the government…

All the time “I”/”Me”/”Myself” spent kvetching over how to clean up a stink problem like that ‘twitter’ thing and along comes this guy and shows me how it’s done! And ‘well’ done I might point out… “Ya just buy the “twitter” thing and disgust the stink so much with ‘clean’ that it leaves on it’s own”.
P.S. Lose money owning twitter? The stink has given Elon Musk so much positive, ‘free’ advertising that there would be no loss regardless. Besides… Can one imagine the “tax write off” if it does somehow fail?
