Wendy Rogers Announces AZ Senate Passage of Election Integrity Bill, Would Require Voter ID For All Early Ballot Requests

Arizona State Senator and Proud Trump supporter Wendy Rogers (R-AZ) announced Monday evening that the Arizona State Senate has passed SB1713, which focuses on election integrity. Below is her tweet.

“I just voted for and the Arizona Senate passed SB1713 that advances #ElectionIntegrity in Arizona. This bill requires an affidavit, date of birth, and voter ID for all early ballots requests.”

With a vote of 16-14, the bill passed by a narrow margin as State Senators voted along party lines. Rogers, a key vote for the Arizona State Senate Republican’s voted yes on this measure allowing this bill to pass.

This bill tightens election laws paving the way for election integrity in the state of Arizona. Arizona was a state in which Republicans alleged that voter fraud occurred.

Now, Arizona is trying to increase security and confidence in elections which will give Republicans assurance that election fraud won’t happen.

The State Senate has also just passed a bill that will give the Arizona Attorney General’s office one million dollars to fight for election integrity.

The Arizona State Senate has passed multiple election integrity bills with the help of Wendy Rogers. Now, it is time for the Arizona State House to pass these bills.

We will have to see what happens come 2022 and 2024.
