William Barr is Opening Criminal Investigation into Russia Probe Origins

The John Durham investigation under the leadership of Attorney General Bill Barr just got a lot scarier for those involved in pushing the Russia collusion narrative against President Trump. The U.S. Attorney John Durham opened up a criminal inquiry today that will be looking into conduct by the FBI, the Justice Department, and the Intelligence Community.

Charlie Kirk tweeted out a list of names that he believes might be under more scrutiny based on this breaking news. He listed off former FBI Director James Comey who was fired by President Trump, John Brennan, Former President Barack Obama, James Clapper, Peter Strzok and his former lover Lisa Page, and Former Deputy Director Andy McCabe. Mccabe, who recently went to work at CNN as a contributory recently lost an appeal to have possible criminal liabilities dropped, putting him in even more Jeopardy.

Kirk’s list of names has not been confirmed as all people that will be under criminal investigation, and the Washington Examiner has reported that the DOJ was unavailable for comment to them today. Kirk tweeted:

“BREAKING:

Bill Barr’s DOJ is opening a CRIMINAL investigation into the origins of the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people: The Russia Witch Hunt

Comey

Brennan

Obama

Clapper

Strzok/Page

McCabe

Must finally be held accountable

RT for JUSTICE!”

The Examiner also reported that earlier this week, the DOJ was revealed to be looking into British Ex-Spy Christopher Steele for information in addition to some of the names mentioned in Kirk’s tweet including former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former FBI agent Peter Strzok. Strzok was the agent who was caught red randed with text messages between his lover at the time, Lisa Page, talking about stopping President Trump from winning the 2016 election. Strzok later testified that he didn’t mean his texts literally and that they were just late-night gestures that wouldn’t affect his job as an agent. Many people didn’t buy this, including Trey Gowdy, who was still a U.S. Rep at the time.

It was also recently reported that Durham would be expanding the scope of this Russia investigation seeking to find out why an expensive investigation that led to no collusion evidence against President Trump was orchestrated in the first place. More on this will likely come out tomorrow as media outlets push for information and details.
