Last night, a statue of former Confederate General Robert E. Lee was taken down inside the US capitol.
Both Republicans (71 including Crenshaw) and Democrats have expressed support of removing statues and monuments after Confederates with Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) have supported removing General Lee from the capitol.
The RINO who is also in favor of ‘red flag’ laws has long called for the removal of these statues citing the Democrats being the party of the “KKK” and segregationists. Below is his tweet from last July regarding Confederate statues.
Republicans won the civil war. That’s our history.

Democrats have a long list of segregationists & KKK members. That’s their history.
I’m glad to help them confront that racist past & voted to remove these Democrat statues from positions of prominence.https://t.co/D9KGH4Kz6b
As you can see he doesn’t seem to care about our rich history, he cares about putting the blame on Democrats for slavery while using it as an excuse to destroy our heritage. Some on the right expressed fury with the removal of General Lee’s statue.
Robert E Lee was a great patriot and a great leader. They are not just tearing him down. They are coming after all of us. Get involved now. You could be next.

The Left targets Robert E. Lee first because they know many Republicans are too big of cowards to defend him for fear of being called “RACIST.”

Taking Lee down first creates the precedent needed to move onto GREAT men like Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt & many others.
Statues honoring Confederate General aren’t about supporting slavery, they are about honoring our ancestors for their bravery and love for this country. Many people in the south are related to the same people the GOP and the Democrats go after and attack. Some Southerners see the removal of these statues as an attack on their heritage.
The GOP seems to have no problem caving to the Democrats on this issue as they fear being called racist for supporting our heritage. The GOP just recently passed a defense bill that includes renaming forts that are named after Confederates.
It is sad to see neither side defend our history.
Previously we reported that Crenshaw sided with House Speaker Pelosi in part:
‘Republican’ House Rep Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is choosing to side with Nancy Pelosi and has voted for removing Confederate history. Somehow, he is justifying this by concocting some wacky talking point that many Confederates were Democrats as if somehow that makes it any better to be removing our nation’s heritage, culture, and history.
Many people will be shocked by this news and may not even want to believe that Republican Dan has turned on his own. But read his own words from his Blue-Check verified Facebook Page:
“Republicans won the civil war. That’s our history.
Democrats have a long list of segregationists & KKK members. That’s their history.
I’m glad to help them confront that racist past & voted to remove these Democrat statues from positions of prominence.”
