Alleged Texas High School Shooter Released Day After Shooting Back in Jail after Failed Drug Test

December 23, Timothy Simpkins (18), was arrested for being in violation of his bond agreement. He tested as part of the terms of his release from jail and was found to have an illicit substance in his drug test. Being in violation of the terms of his release he is now back behind bars.

Simpkins was released on October 7th after one day in jail on a $75,000 bond, the shooting took place on October 6th.

Simpkins opened fire at Timberview highschool injuring four including a pregnant teacher. He currently faces three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Simpkins’s parents have decried that their son was being bullied at school, however, Police Chief Al Jones said he was involved in high-risk activities with another student and dismissed the claim of bullying.

CBS DFW reported, “Part of Simpkins’ bond conditions were to abstain from drug use and not to possess alcohol. Online court records show that a urinalysis drug test came back positive, although they did not say what that test came back positive for.”

Simpkins’s family threw a party for him after he was released from jail back in October and posted pictures to social media. Simkins’s family also tried to start a GoFundme page which was quickly taken down by the website for being in violation of their terms and conditions.

Many people were shocked at the quick release of Simpkins from Jail and are now not too surprised to see him back behind bars before his court date. The media has been extremely quiet on this school shooting as well as the mass casualties from a man driving through a Christmas parade in Waukesha WI as they don’t fit the narrative the media wants to push.
