Multiple people shared videos of AOC being escorted from out front of the Supreme Court. She has her hands behind her back appearing like she has been handcuffed. She is smiling while being escorted by police. At one point she raises her fist in the air confirming that she is not handcuffed.
The officer escorting her has one hand on AOC and another on a protester who is also being escorted away.
U.S. Representative Jackie Speier (D-CA), who was also arrested, shared how proud she was to participate in the protest as well as being arrested.
“Proud to march with my Democratic colleagues including @DemWomenCaucus members, and get arrested for women’s rights, abortion rights, the rights for people to control their own bodies and the future and our democracy! #BansOffOurBodies #WeWontGoBack”
