Bills-Bengals Monday Night Football Game Will Not Be Resumed Pending Approval by the NFLPA: Report

It was reported today that the Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals will not be resumed pending approval by the NFL Players Association.

The Associated Press delivered the report, where they referenced two sources who said that the NFL will make the announcement once a decision is made on how it will affect the playoffs.

We had initially reported that the game was canceled but updated after the NFL announced that the game was postponed.

The game was suspended after Bill safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after making a tackle of Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of the game.

Hamlin is reportedly improving now and was able to ask, through writing, who won the game to which doctors told him in response that he won “The game of life.”

A GoFundMe fundraiser that Hamlin had started to collect toys for needy children has now reached over $7 million.

Hamlin was reportedly made aware of the figure and his family told him that he “would have a lot of toys to buy” when he gets better.

In a powerful moment on Tuesday, the day after Hamlin’s collapse, former quarterback Dan Orlovsky paused during “NFL Live” on ESPN to say a prayer out loud live on ESPN him.
