CNN Host Don Lemon suggested on ‘The View’ Monday that to help end racism in the United States, America must teach its citizens that Jesus Christ was not white.
Lemon said, “If you are a person of faith in this country, and we know America is built on faith and religious freedom, a good way of starting is to present the true identity of Jesus. That is a black or brown person, rather than someone who looks like a white hippy from Sweden or Norway. We should start with that and put that in your home, either a Black Jesus or Brown Jesus. Jesus looked more like a Muslim or someone who is dark, rather than a blonde-looking carpenter.”
As you can see Don Lemon believes that Jesus Christ was not a white man but instead someone who was black or brown. Even so, there is no evidence that the teaching that Jesus Christ was white is connected to racism in the United States as the color of Jesus is usually not mentioned.
Very few times have people argued that Jesus was white for the sake of justifying racism. Lemon is making it sound like Christians would care whether or not Jesus was white. Most Christians do not care about the color of his skin, but do care about historical accuracy, although Jesus is not portrayed in pictures in some sects of the Christian religion.
Lemon then went on, “When your children ask you who is this, say this is Jesus. Jesus does not look like the popular depiction we have in our churches and our homes, and we see all over the media. That is a good place to start. That’s a good place that your kids will ask questions, and then you can go from there, and then we can — then we can come to a true reality about what America really is and then try to figure out how we fix this issue of racism in the country. It is a spell that must be broken.”
Lemon here suggested that parents must tell their children that Jesus wasn’t white in order to stop racism in this country. It is odd how big of an issue the left is making of the skin color of Jesus.
Non-Christians invoke the name of Jesus to try to trip up other Christians for their beliefs in which don’t align with theirs while at the same time not even believing in him.
You can also see in the clip below how Don Lemon went after the Vatican yesterday for reaffirming its stance on same-sex marriages.

If one thing is for sure, the anti-Christian bias Lemon has is prevalent, and that is sad, and should be unacceptable. Lemon should clearly be canceled for this bias.
