Elon Musk Joins Malik Obama and Others in Suggesting Americans Vote Republican in Midterm Elections via Tweet

Former President Barak Obama’s brother called for Americans to vote Republican “up and down the ticket”. This is being echoed by many who consider themselves moderates and have labeled themselves previously as Democrats or Independents.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk suggested ‘independent-minded voters’ vote for Republicans given that a Democrat is sitting in the oval office for more balance.

“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic.”

Musk added, “Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who actually decide who’s in charge!”

This is not the first time Musk has talked about voting for Republicans. In June he shared for that the first time ever he voted for Texas Republican Mayra Flores, sharing that he believes there will be a ‘massive red wave’ in the midterms.

Musk also shared that he is leaning toward Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis if he were to run for president.

Independents it appears may decide the outcome of the midterms. Many are frustrated with the state of our country and the response from the Biden Administration. When things affect people’s wallets it seems they vote on those issues over social issues.

In our view, it seems that Democrats have prioritized abortion rights over inflation and the economy in their messaging, as inflation continues to impact everyday Americans, abortion rights just don’t seem to have as much of an impact on the voter.

On Tuesday Americans will head to the ballot box and we will see how the country votes.
