Federal Prosecutors Not Seeking Charges Against Officer Who Shot Jacob Blake

Last year, Wisconsin police officer Rusten Shesky shot Jacob Blake in the back several times which paralyzed Blake and caused nights of riots.

“BREAKING: Federal prosecutors will not seek charges against officer who shot Jacob Blake”

Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis said, “The Kenosha Police use of force incident on August 23, 2020 was investigated by an outside agency; has been reviewed by an independent expert as well as the Kenosha County District Attorney. Officer Sheskey was not charged with any wrong doing. He acted within the law and was consistent with training. This incident was also reviewed internally. Officer Sheskey was found to have been acting within policy and will not be subjected to discipline.”

Some may mention that it was found that Blake had a knife on him therefore it was the right of the officer to defend himself from being stabbed or killed. Like George Floyd, many see Blake as just another criminal who was not listening to the officers.

“Jacob Blake was accosting his rape victim when police showed up. He was armed with a knife. He tried to steal a vehicle with children in the backseat. The people who defend Ashli Babbitt’s murder still insist that Blake was unjustly shot. These people are totally depraved.”

We will have to see if anything further comes of this however it looks like this may be the end of the Jacob Blake case. This is likely to spark outrage among some on the left due to what they see as a lack of “accountability” for the officer even with investigations saying he acted within the law.
