‘Former Conservative’ and Anti-Trump WaPo Columnist Jennifer Rubin Fear Mongers About Glenn Youngkin’s ‘Anti-Mask Nuttery’: ‘He’s Only Been in Office a Few Days’

Former Conservative” MSNBC Contributor and Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is not happy with Virginia’s new governor.

“So much for the silly narrative that Youngkin was some normal R. As @TerryMcAuliffe predicted, he’s brought DeSantis anti-mask nuttery to VA. Now at war with several school districts. He’s only been in office a few days. Hey, VA this is what you voted for. Best of luck.”

“Word. Youngkin is either ignorant, just playing the MAGA crowd or both. He’s about to learn how govt works”

State Senator Louise Lucas who had charges for destruction of a monument against her dropped under Ralph Northam’s rule chimed in:

“Cry harder @GovernorVA! Your executive orders do not change LAWS we passed. Better learn how government works, we elect Governors not dictators.”

Clearly, Rubin is worried about the direction Virginia is going after just 48 hours of a Glenn Youngkin Governorship. Although she is a Virginia resident, she is blaming her fellow Virginians for voting for Youngkin, which to many, was a big upset.

As we previously reported, “It is being reported that the new Virginia Governor, Glenn Youngkin (R) is banning Critical Race Theory by executive order. Axios reports the popular talking point that CRT is from the 1970s and rarely taught in schools anyway. However, in the same story, they report that it may face legal challenges and pushback from state lawmakers.

What we’re unsure of is how something that isn’t happening, to begin with, can be legally challenged when it’s ordered to stop? Nevertheless, this is what is happening in Virginia. 10 other orders were issued by Youngkin.

Liberals on Twitter like Rubin have already begun to seeth about Youngkin’s governing as he has swiftly taken action to accomplish what he promised to do. We will have to see their reactions as Youngkin continues to serve as Governor for these next four years.
