In Final ‘Reliable Sources’ Show, Brian Stelter Insists That ‘America Needs CNN to Be Strong’

In his final “Reliable Sources” show, Brian Stelter insisted that “CNN must remain strong” as he signed off the air.

“America needs CNN to be strong, I believe the free world needs CNN to be strong and it will continue to be, because all of us are going to help make that happen.”

“The free world needs a reliable source. So, for ‘Reliable Sources’, for the last time, I’m Brian Stelter. Thanks for being with us.”

Another clip from the show was shared in a tweet by Twitter account “SnapStream”.

“‘I love this show,’ says @BrianStelter in the opening monologue of his last episode of the weekly@ReliableSources show on@CNN.”

“This small but mighty show punched above its weight for so many years. Even a former president commented on the cancellation!”

Prior to the show, Stelter shared a picture of himself carrying a tv monitor and said, “About to walk off the stage. My final @CNN show starts in 10 minutes. (Photo credit: Mary Ellen Matthews)”

As we previously reported, the 45th President Donald Trump mocked both soon-to-be former U.S. Congressman Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Stelter in a Truth Social post on Friday.

Prior to that, we reported that radical leftist author Stephen King expressed his disappointment with the cancelation of Brian Stelter’s weekly show in a tweet on Thursday.
