Actor Randy Quaid joked about Joe Biden’s inaction thus far on the Chinese ‘spy’ Balloon.
He referred to his infamous scene in the movie Independence day in which he takes down the alien spacecraft.
“Biden says that being probed by a Chinese dragon’s eyeball is not that bad. I mean, it’s not like it’s eating our kids! But if it does we’ll call Randy Quaid and he’ll fix it. No more questions.”
During the movie Independence Day, Quaid is set to shoot down the spacecraft when the launching capabilities malfunction. Quaid then decides to fly into the ship with his armed aircraft blowing up the ship.
The public became aware of the balloon when reports surfaced from sitings in the state of Montana. With the news out the administration couldn’t deny that it was there and it was revealed that it belonged to China.
The administration decided to allow the balloon to stay in the air and it began to travel across the United States with reports of its sitings coming from all over the midwest on Friday. This morning it was spotted above Charlotte, NC.
Biden announced Saturday that he “is taking care of it”. Some are speculating that it will be shot down over the Atlantic. We will have to see what comes of this balloon.
