Is Jake Tapper Turning On Governor Cuomo and is it Related to Alleged Internal CNN Bias Against His Brother Chris?

CNN News Host and prominent liberal Jake Tapper appears to be turning on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) following the sexual harassment allegations. One might even speculate it could be linked to a potential CNN bias against Chris Cuomo.

Tapper tweeted out an article headlined, “When straight news reporters asked the governor questions he’d rather not answer, he’d belittle them as beneath his intelligence or accuse them of being tools of a vast right-wing conspiracy.” This article referred to Andrew Cuomo.

Following Governor Cuomo being accused by multiple women of sexual harassment, many Democrats seem to be turning on him. Now it has become apparent Jake Tapper is doing the same, but possibly for more than one reason.

Some speculate there is an anti-Chris Cuomo sentiment at CNN. The Daily Caller reported on this saying, “CNN associate producer Jimmy Carr says Chris Cuomo is the only anchor of CNN’s “New Day” because his brother is the governor of New York in yet another undercover video from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.

In the video posted Wednesday, Carr said of Cuomo’s rise, “I don’t have a brother who’s the governor, so … ” The undercover reporter stroked Carr’s ego saying he had just as much “gravitas” as Cuomo and he responded by saying, “Just can’t stand the guy when he talks, we’re like shut up.”

As you can see from the leaked tape there could possibly be internal fighting among CNN hosts as some may believe Chris Cuomo only has his job because his bother is the Governor of New York.

This potential anti-Chris Cuomo bias could play a role in the apparent betrayal that Jake Tapper has done. Tapper even tweeted out an article that praised Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for not locking down its citizens and still having better COVID-19 numbers than New York and California.

The interesting thing is Tapper has been known for his pro-lockdown stance and has often gone after Governor DeSantis for not putting more COVID-19 restrictions in place.

The article he tweeted out praises Ron DeSantis while targeting New York which Andrew Cuomo is the Governor of.

Why else would Tapper retweet an article that praises DeSantis while ripping Cuomo’s states?

We can’t say for sure however CNN seems to have a bit of internal fighting going on.

There could be even more anger now that Chris Cuomo refused to cover the sexual harassment allegations because he is Andrew Cuomo’s brother. With all of that piled, and CNN seems to be a dumpster fire.
