Washed up pop singer Madonna announced she would hold a benefit concert for ‘trans rights’ groups following the shooting in Nashville, by a trans person where the concert is set to be held.
On Monday, a transgender shooter targeted a Christian school and killed 6 people, including three children. The shooter was taken out by police in under 15 minutes of the call coming in.
Country singer John Rich reacted to the news on Twitter:
“#Madonna is what it looks like to have completely sold your soul to the dark side, and all that remains is a flesh and blood instrument for the devil himself to carry out his evil in the wide open.”
The targeting of the Christian school, by a transgender individual, has been called by some in mainstream media as two tragedies. Even The White House press secretary made sure to highlight that the transgender community is under attack, appearing to sympathize with the shooter. These comments seem tone-deaf in the wake of the tragedy that took place Monday.
U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) called for the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to investigate the shooting as a hate crime.
Madonna recently revealed her new look post-surgery, and many found it disturbing. Madonna is 64 years old and has relied heavily on plastic surgery to keep herself looking younger.
Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol 😂 pic.twitter.com/jd8hQyi2Az
