Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) has recently come out harshly against Black people who support the President. She says she will “never forgive” Black people who vote for President Trump. On the Joe Madison show, she said, “Any of them showing their face, I will never ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities. It is absolutely unconscionable.”
The Congresswomen then went on to attack the President for his Coronavirus response.
She then said that President Trump is a “deplorable human being” for his so-called “support” of White Supremacists. This comes despite President Trump’s repeated disavowals of any racist or violent groups.
The Biden campaign has disavowed violence a couple of times in general but has been relatively quiet as to groups like Antifa and other far-left radicals responsible for much of the recent rioting and violence over alleged police brutality.
She said, “The divisiveness that this deplorable human being has caused, the confrontation, the dog-whistling to the right-wing, the white supremacists, the KKK, and they’re coming alive,” she added. “They’re emboldened because they’ve got a leader who wants them to do it. What did he say to the Proud Boys? Stand back and stand ready? Ready for what—confrontation?”
President Trump has shown a slight gain in Black support as celebrities like “Lil Wayne” and “Lil pump” have pledged their support for the President and “Lil Pump” spoke at the Presidents rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
If the President can pull off some more Black voters from the Democratic Party then an electoral win for him is highly likely.
