After being stalled in the House of Representatives since August, the over $1T infrastructure bill will finally head to President Joe Biden’s desk to be signed.
The measure passed in a 228-206 vote as thirteen “traitor” Republicans supported it, while six progressive Democrats voted against it.
U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) led the charge in making her feelings known about her displeasure with those who helped House Speaker Nancy Pelosi get a legislative victory.
“Republicans who hand over their voting card to Nancy Pelosi to pass Biden’s Communist takeover of America will feel the anger of the GOP voter,” Greene insisted.

As the vote was being taken, Greene tweeted “8 Traitors” and then later added in a quote tweet, “Make it the unlucky 13. #Traitors.”

Greene then listed the names of the thirteen “Republicans” as well as the phone numbers to their offices in a pair of tweets.
“These are the 13 ‘Republicans’ who handed over their voting cards to Nancy Pelosi to pass Joe Biden’s Communist takeover of America via so-called infrastructure: Katko, Bacon, Van Drew, Young, Upton, Kinzinger, Gonzales, Reed, Smith, Gabarino, Malliotakis, Fitzpatrick,” Greene reported.

SAD!
It is unclear what, if any benefit the Republicans were promised for their cooperation with the bill and considering that they were in a position to get something done, like perhaps border security, it would be a shame if they didn’t get any concessions from Pelosi.
The passage of the bill also reportedly came with a deal on the Democrat side where the $1.75T social spending bill will now be taken up no later than the week of Nov. 15.
