Patriotic Florida House Rep Says Swamp Republicans Blocked Him from Committee Assignments for Pro-Trump, Pro-Gun, Anti-Mask Efforts

Republican Florida State Representative Anthony Sabatini says he is being discriminated against by fellow Republicans. Florida Speaker of the House Chris Sprowls announced recently committee assignments. Sabatini was assigned only four assignments – less than any other Republican member in his class according to one of his detailed tweets. He was also the only second-term Republican who was denied chairmanship, vice chairmanship, or a whip position.

Sabatini says he cannot confirm for sure if this was accidental or if he was being targeted for being an outspoken conservative. We spoke directly with Representative Sabatini to obtain the following information.

These are the reasons Sabatini believes he is being discriminated against on committee assignments. “It’s from being anti-lockdown, pro-second amendment, and just being an independent pro-trump voice. I filed constitutional carry, campus carry, etc….[Sprowls] he killed all the bills. I filed a bill to end the state’s ability to make mandatory vaccinations during an “emergency”. And sued 14 cities that have face mask laws. [Sprowls] He is against all of that.”

Below in a video is just one example of Sabatini putting the people’s voice before bureaucratic demands, and standing up against what many see as unconstitutional mandates.

The letter Sabatini issued highlights the fact that the Speaker of the House could immediately remedy what Sprowls called accidental but has yet to do so. “DAY 2 since I’ve been denied an amount of Committee assignments equal to my colleagues by Speaker @ChrisSprowls—whether I was targeted for being an outspoken conservative or whether it was “unintentional” is still to be determined. @FLGOPMajority The answer is getting more and more clear.”

An article from Orland Sentinal furthers bolsters Sabatini’s claim of discrimination. It appears possible that the left and the swampy right have even united in these efforts. The article from November pushes Speaker of the house Sprowls to sideline Sabatini.

The article reads, “make it clear that Sabatini’s incendiary stunts don’t reflect the speaker’s own values, he’ll sideline Sabatini — and not let him anywhere near the crafting of public policy in this state…You’d bench him. You’d say: I know you were elected. And you have the right to vote on every piece of legislation this body produces. But I am not letting your divisive histrionics derail or distract this chamber’s serious goals.”

The same article gives an example of Christopher Sprowls and the former Speaker of the House Jose Oliva doing just that to former Florida State Representative Mike Hill.

Sabatini continues to support President Trump’s efforts to prove what he believes is voter fraud and irregularities in the November 3rd election, calling on the US Congress to Object on January 6th, to Joe Biden’s Electoral College win.

Previously we reported that Rep Sabatini defended a gym after they were shut down for allegedly having only one customer seen not wearing a mask. Sabatini said he would represent those charged for overreach like that for free. In July we reported in part:

Florida State Rep Anthony Sabatini (R-FL-DISTRICT 32) has said that he will represent anyone who is arrested over what he believes to be unconstitutional mask mandates. He has helped the now-famous Bevelyn Beatty, who is known for pouring black paint on the New York City Black Lives Matter ‘mural’, and getting briefly arrested.

Speaker Chris Sprowls’s actions, or lack thereof, will either vindicate Sabatini in his claim or reassure him that they are on the same team in the near future. Based on our experience in noticing things like this, we definitely smell a rat.
