Arizona Republican State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita killed a crucial election integrity bill in the Arizona State Senate according to her fellow Republican colleague Senator Kelly Townsend.
Senator Townsend posted, “Michelle Ugenti-Rita, candidate for AZ Secretary of State, just killed my bill, SB1241, which had over 34 serious election integrity and security provisions, because she was mad I didn’t get her permission to run them.”
Senator Townsend also said it was “unacceptable” she is, “denying the people of Arizona confidence and election security.” It seems this RINO is power-hungry and wants colleagues to run things by her first or else she will kill important legislation.
Though it appears she won’t go down without a fight as she tweeted, “Now that the election integrity bills are pretty much done in the legislature, I will be going on a statewide tour informing legislative districts and other groups how we are doing when it comes to election reform. I’m looking forward to seeing you all!”

Senator Townsend also tweeted out her response to Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita saying it was “reprehensible” that “pride” killed the bill referring to how Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita was mad Senator Townsend went around her. She added it was no reason to kill the bill. Like RINO Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, she is being a roadblock for secure and honest elections.
“My response to the bogus reason my bill was voted down.”

Now, this “RINO” is also running for Arizona Secretary of State. It has become clear that she is a power-hungry RINO who acts like she is in favor of election integrity but kills bills that don’t go through her and her committee.
Mark Finchem is also running for the Secretary of State seat. He is a Republican and is running on election integrity. He is a member of the Arizona House of Representatives currently.
