Ronna McDaniel Uses Democrat Playbook, Brags about LGBTQ Republican Support ‘Doubling Over Last 4 Years’

The GOP Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, went to Twitter on Wednesday to proudly boast that the GOP has “doubled our LGBTQ support over the last 4 years, and we will continue to grow our big tent by supporting measures that promote fairness and balance protections for LGBTQ Americans and those with deeply held religious beliefs.”

The reaction was very mixed. Plenty of social Conservatives viewed this tweet and pro-LGBTQ narrative as harmful to America’s culture and society. One such Conservative is Michael Sisco, who is running for Congress in West Virginia. Sisco accused McDaniel and GOP personalities similar to her as merely pandering to the LGBTQ voter base without realizing that the majority of her supporters are Conservative Christians who hold pro-family values and Christian principles.

Another likeminded Conservative also attacked McDaniel, saying that the GOP should be seeking to improve the economic wellbeing of people that can actually create families so that, in turn, these Conservative parents can have children that are also pro-Conservative principles.

However, on the other side of verbal attacks, were from Liberals who labeled McDaniel and the GOP as hypocrites. These characters believe that the GOP is not inclusive enough. They pointed to the actions of Ron DeSantis specifically, who faced national headlines when he banned transgenders from competing in women’s sports in the Florida school system.

The GOP seems to be at a crossroads currently. 10 years ago, the GOP was united in its moral principles. The GOP was against the legalization of gay marriage, against transgender and chemical castration, nearly 100% pro-life and anti-contraceptives. The Republican Party has continuously ceded more and more ground to the Left and now “proudly” has practicing homosexuals and crossdressers who support transgenderism as movement leaders.

Multitudes of conservative influencers have recognized this and are pushing for a return to tradition and a return to a socially Conservative GOP. Michael Malice labeled the Conservative movement as “progressivism driving the speed limit.”

The Bull Moose Project, which desires a populist takeover of the GOP, accused the GOP chairwoman as trying to defeat Liberalism with more Liberalism.

The GOP will have to determine if they should be culturally and socially Conservative or if they desire to continue ceding their principals and agenda in an attempt to get more votes.
