Russia Issues Sanctions on Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Many Others, Including Hunter Biden

On Tuesday, Russia announced its own sanctions against President Joe Biden, many U.S. officials, as well as Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Joe Biden was at the top of the list followed by, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd James Austin III, United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki and the president’s son Hunter Biden were also included in the list.

Some on Twitter find it humorous that Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton are listed among the many U.S. Officials. @JordanSchachtel shared, “Russia just sanctioned a bunch of US officials. They also included Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton, among others,” along with the list of those who are on the “stop list”.

Hillary Clinton’s response to the news was quite sarcastic. The former first lady shared, “I want to thank the Russian Academy for this Lifetime Achievement Award.” This may lead many to wonder how seriously are the sanctions the U.S. put on some Russians being taken?

Former President Trump put out a statement on the news as well. Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington shared the statement to Twitter, “NEW! President Donald J. Trump: “Breaking News: Russia just sanctioned Joe Biden. While that is a terrible thing, in so many ways, perhaps it will now be explained why the Biden family received 3.5 million dollars from the very wealthy former Mayor of Moscow’s wife.”

“During our Presidential Debate, “moderator” Chris Wallace, then of Fox, would not let me ask that question. He said it was inappropriate. Perhaps that’s why Biden has been so “slow on the draw” with Russia. This is a really bad conflict of interest that will, perhaps now, be fully and finally revealed!”

Trump opens the door to a possible scandal that may be exposed by the sanctions Russia has issued, highlighting a 3.5 million dollar payment made by the former Mayor of Moscow’s wife to the Biden family.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki had this to say about the sanctions, during the White House press briefing today, “won’t surprise any of you that none of us are planning tourist trips to Russia, none of us have bank accounts that we won’t be able to access, so we will forge ahead.”

The statement from Russian explains that this was a move in retaliation, “an inevitable consequence of the extremely Russophobic course taken by the current US Administration, which, in a desperate attempt to maintain American hegemony, has relied, discarding all decency, on the frontal constricting of Russia.”

“At the same time, we do not refuse to maintain official relations if they meet our national interests, and, if necessary, we will solve problems arising from the status of persons who appear on the ‘black list’ in order to organize high-level contacts.”
