Former President Trump Endorses Mark Finchem for AZ Secretary of State

Former President Donald Trump released his endorsement of Mark Finchem for Arizona Secretary of State. Finchem tweeted a response to the former president’s endorsement.

“Thank you, President Trump for your endorsement. You are leading the way on restoring election integrity. I am truly honored to be recognized for the hard work I put in and will continue to do to restore the integrity of our elections.”

Trump’s endorsement reads in part, “It is my great honor to endorse a true warrior, Representative Mark Finchem, of the Great State of Arizona, for the position of Secretary of State. He is a patriot who has fought for our Country right from his earliest moments in government. Mark was willing to say what few others had the courage to say.” The full statement can be seen below in the tweet.

In a follow-up tweet, Finchem tweeted a picture of the two together touting the endorsement and said in the tweet, “Such a great honor! #MAGA“

Finchem has fought hard in Arizona for election integrity and announced he would be running for Secretary of State at the end of March of this year. At least four others have announced they will be running as well. This endorsement is likely to give Finchem even more of an edge in the race. The current Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) announced she would be running for Governor of Arizona in 2022.

Finchem has been at the forefront of election integrity in Arizona and fully supports the Maricopa audit. He has also worked with Rudy Giuliani and supported other election integrity efforts after the 2020 presidential election.
