UFC Fighter and his Friend Take Down Gunman Potentially Saving Lives at Houston, Texas Restaurant

UFC fighter Kevin Holland and his friend Patrick Robinson saved the lives of many after taking down a gunman at a restaurant in Houston, Texas.

“No injuries were reported during the incident, but Holland and a friend were able to subdue the suspect until police arrived.”

A gunman walked into RA Sushi, a restaurant in Houston, and opened fire with around 50 people inside at the time. It is reported that no one was injured though many must be traumatized from the incident.

Holland’s friend, Robinson, said, “Next thing you know, you just hear a ‘pop’ and then everybody started getting down. Everybody started getting down. Next thing you know, me and my buddy, we ran to the shooter, got him down, strangled him, took the gun from him, and then called the police. Police came and got him.”

Hollands posted a video on social media saying, “I laugh a lot even when things aren’t funny. I smile when I should frown. Super blessed and thankful to see today. Kiss ya kids, hug ya family and treat random people with care. You never know what a mfer may be going through.”

“This was Kevin Holland’s reaction shortly after he and a friend took down a gunman Monday night at a restaurant in Houston.”

The police reported that the 24-year-old gunman is being charged with possession of a stolen gun as well as discharging a firearm. We can only hope that the gunman will be facing a lengthy sentence and he clearly chose the wrong restaurant to mess with.
