Wendy Rogers Applauds Texas’ National Guard and Trooper Deployment to Counteract Joe Biden’s Weak Border Security

Freshman Republican State Senator of Arizona Wendy Rogers applauded Texas Governor Greg Abbott for announcing he will deploy the National Guard and other units to the southern border to protect it.

Wendy retweeted Arizona GOP Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward, in a show of support for Governor Abbott’s actions. Below is Wendy’s tweet.

For a recap, Texas Governor Greg Abbot announced that he will launch “Operation Lone Star” which would in his words deploy, “Nat’l Guard + DPS Officers + air, ground, marine, & tactical border security assets to deny Mexican Cartels & smugglers the ability to move drugs & people into Texas.” As you can see in his full tweet below.

Like Texas, Arizona is a state which borders Mexico and has an immigration crisis illegal immigrants pouring into the country.

Immigration negatively impacts both Texas and Arizona and with Biden refusing to secure our borders, Republicans like Dr. Ward feel obligated to take matters into their own hands to solve this crisis.

With Biden’s America last immigration policies and caravans filled with criminals banging at our doorsteps, it is important to secure our border and keep our people safe.

This is another example of GOP Governors and politicians being able to counter Biden’s agenda by using the state powers to overrule counter-act Biden’s executive orders.

We will have to see if Arizona too decides to protect its citizens and send National Guard troops to the southern border.
