Miles Teller, who plays Rooster, the son of Goose in “Top Gun: Maverick”, shared with Entertainment Tonight that he is ready to do Top Gun 3. Teller said he has had some “conversations” about another sequel with Tom Cruise.

The original Top Gun was released in 1986 and 36 years later in 2022 the sequel Top Gun: Maverick was released in theaters on Memorial Day Weekend. The opening weekend smashed the opening record for the holiday weekend and has continued seeing success.
Just last week it became the world’s highest-grossing film of the year flying past the $ 1 billion mark, beating out Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Teller pointed out that a sequel all comes down to “TC, it’s all up to Tom”. Teller is onboard to make another Top Gun.
Tom Cruise has been staying busy with filming Mission Impossible movies as there are two set to release, one in 2023 and another in 2024 according to reports.
If they can get a good storyline it sounds like another Top Gun movie could be on the big screen soon enough.
