CNN’s Brian Stelter’s wife, Jamie Shupak Stelter, has been accused of bullying her colleagues and promoting a toxic work environment for her colleagues to endure at her TV station, New York 1 (NY1).

She talked disparagingly about a black co-worker, Stacy Ann Gooden, who was often ostracized from the group – excluded her from meetings and left out of discussions. https://t.co/9wutfHFQn2
In an exclusive report with New York Magazine, NY1 insiders described Stelter as turning from a “diva” into a “high school bully”, saying she would gossip behind her coworkers backs. Similar to his wife, Brian Stelter has also face criticism for being a bully, with many nicknaming him a “hall monitor”.
One of the NY1 employees claimed that Jamie Stelter would make “snide comments” concerning fellow reporter Alyse Swick, after photos of Swick, a former Jet dance and former Miss New York, got plenty of praise and engagement across social media. Stelter’s discontent towards Swick may have pushed NY1 executives to tell Swick to stop posting photos of herself from her NFL or pageant days.
Another colleague alleged that Stelter and co-anchor Annika Pergament would openly gossip about their co-workers, even with their microphones on. They would make judgmental comments on “the way someone did their hair, what they’re wearing, their reporting” one of the sources said. A third colleague said, “a lot of people don’t like working with Jamie”, saying “people would avoid her”.
A group of ten current and former employees told New York Magazine that co-anchors Pergament and Stelter would consistently treat former weather anchor, Stacy Ann Gooden, very poorly. These employees claimed that Pergament and Stelter would often ostracize Gooden, excluding her from meetings and ignoring her during roundtable discussions. Former producer, John Fria supported this claim, saying that when Gooden was given the ability to speak and add to any discussion, “it was very short, abrupt”.
Eventually “it got to the point where Stacy-Ann couldn’t take it anymore because they were just outwardly rude”, said a colleague. Another former crew member said that Gooden attempted to have Human Resources come in and help the situation but nothing changed, so she quit.
Jamie Stelter’s husband, Brian, has described by many Conservatives as a “hall monitor” with Sean Hannity, labeling him a “full-time Fox News psycho stalker hall monitor Humpty, Humpty Dumpty.”

Social Media users have been infuriated over the claims that Jamie Stelter is a bully, especially upset over her treatment of black co-worker, Stacy Ann Gooden. Stelter has been labeled as a “racist bully” and a “bullying piece of s**t”.
