Caitlyn Jenner’s Mid Campaign ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Break Leads to Seriousness Concerns as Larry Elder Jumps into Race

Olympian and Republican California gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner will be taking a break in the middle of the campaign to compete at a “Celebrity Big Brother”.

#BREAKING Caitlyn Jenner has left California in the middle of the gubernatorial race to compete in Celebrity Big Brother in Australia. She’ll be off the campaign trail for several weeks.”

Jenner defended leaving to go to Australia saying, “I am honoring a work commitment that I had made prior to even deciding to run for governor. There is no pause at all on this race to save CA!”

This all comes as we previously reported, “Conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder entered California’s Sept. 14 recall election yesterday, as the field expands to take on Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Newsom got news yesterday as well, however, as a judge ruled that he was not able to put his Democratic party affiliation on the ballot, after a filing mistake was made by his campaign counsel Tom Willis.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Elder, who is running his first campaign, said that he was initially reluctant to become a candidate in a state where Democrats hold a lopsided grip on power in Sacramento and fellow conservative radio host Dennis Prager was among supporters who encouraged him to run.

Elder stated he decided to enter the race after witnessing California’s out-of-control homeless crisis, spiking crime rates, looming water and power shortages, and whipsaw coronavirus lockdowns.”

Some on the right may argue that Elder is much more conservative than Jenner and he would thus make a better Governor. Though other on the right may also say Jenner would have a better shot at beating a Democrat.

Either way, Elder seems to be the early favorite as most conservatives would likely support an actual conservative rather than someone like Caitlyn Jenner who could be potentially weak on important issues. We will have to wait and see if former President Donald Trump decides to make an endorsement.
