Conservative Journalist Andy Ngo Reportedly Tackled and Punched by Portland Rioters

Conservative journalist, Andy Ngo, who consistently has covered Antifa and BLM events, was reportedly physically attacked by rioters in Portland, Oregon last night. Last night, in Terry Schrunk Plaza, in downtown Portland, an anniversary event for BLM was held. A graphic promoting the event advertised that everyone, “wear bloc and be water”, encouraging black garb and vigilance to evade police pushback.

Ngo was recognized by protestors and fled for his safety into the Nines hotel after being tackled and punched by the mob. A video surfaced on Twitter in which an aggressor came into the hotel lobby, threatening Ngo, yelling, “I can’t wait for you to come [outside] – we’re going to beat the f***k out of you, b***h.”

Ngo, allegedly, attempted to infiltrate a group of protestors before being identified and was attacked. He ran for safety and protection by hotel security at the Nines hotel, in downtown Portland. Multiple Antifa/BLM groups threatened violence against Ngo, anticipating he would eventually be forced to leave the hotel lobby. Twitter users pushed to, “barricade the nines” and proclaimed that, “this mf can never feel safe here”.

Another user encouraged violent protestors to attack Ngo with a macuahuitl, a wooden club with embedded obsidian blades.

Violent aggressors were seen slamming and pushing against the locked doors leading into the hotel lobby, screaming, “I want to get a room. Where’s Andy?!”.

The city of Portland has been ravaged by riots for a year now and took place for 100 consecutive nights. Ngo tweeted this morning saying that protestors, “traveled to Oregon City to vandalize a street where a patriotic event was scheduled. They dumped blood, feces, oil, animal organs & other things all over.”

It is clear that these violent protestors hate any press reporters like Ngo that frequent their rioting and show the world the destruction promoted by violent mobs. Ngo has over 850,000 followers on Twitter and has released an NYT bestseller book on his coverage of the Antifa protests that have taken place over the past few years.
