Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk has an “inside man” on Twitter’s Board of Directors which may help him with his purchase of the controversial company Twitter, according to the New York Post.
“Self-made billionaire @elonmusk may be initiating a counter to Twitter’s ‘poison pill’ by putting together a team of investors (under 15% each). Sources say Musk may have an ‘inside man’ on @Twitter‘s Board.”

As we previously reported on this developing story, “Democrats are in full panic mode. The last thing they want in our opinion is Elon Musk running Twitter. Musk spoke live today at a Ted Talk in Vancouver.
Something he recently said today as leftists scramble to stop the hostile Twitter takeover bid is that he has a ‘plan b’ if Twitter doesn’t take his buyout offer. ‘I don’t like to lose’.”
Last Friday Twitter adopted a “poison pill” that attempts to discourage shareholders from purchasing more than 15% of their stock, as Musk currently owns 9.1%. Twitter wrote in a press release, “The Rights Plan will reduce the likelihood that any entity, person or group gains control of Twitter through open market accumulation without paying all shareholders an appropriate control premium or without providing the Board sufficient time to make informed judgments and take actions that are in the best interests of shareholders.”
After Musk was invited to join the board, he reversed his decision and chose not to, as some speculate it was because he wouldn’t be able to buy more than 14.9% of its stock, preventing him from buying Twitter which is clearly his goal now.
If Musk does have an “inside man” he may be able to outmaneuver Twitter and successfully purchase it, allowing him to restore more free speech on the platform with the potential of former President Donald Trump’s notoriously banned Twitter account being reinstated.
